On January 14, 2026, NYSED hosted the “NYS Portrait of a Graduate & Inquiry-Based Learning in PreK-Grade 5” hybrid webinar to provide Ƶapp State early learning and elementary school administrators and leaders with an opportunity to engage in regional discussions about what the NYS Portrait of a Graduate means in PreK through Grade 5, as well as how this connects with inquiry-based learning.
